Follow this guide to connect your trading account (Live or Demo) to the MetaTrader 5 platform.
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Download and Install: First, download and install MetaTrader 5 from the “MetaTrader 5 Trading Platform” page on ParamountMarkets.
2. Get Your Login Details: After opening your account, you will receive an email containing the necessary connection details. Please check your inbox for your Login, Password, and Server information.
3. Open Login Window: Launch MetaTrader 5. From the top-left menu, click on File and select Login to Trade Account.
4. Enter Credentials: A login window will appear. Enter the details exactly as you received them in your email:
- Login: Enter the Login Code (Trading Account Number) from the email.
- Password: Enter the Password from the email.
- Server: Search for and select the ParamountMarkets server.
5. Final Connection: Click OK. Your account connection is now complete, and you can confidently start trading in the Forex market. To confirm the connection is successful, check the bottom-right corner of the window. You should see a connection speed number or a green signal icon.
